Druids was eventful for a number of
reasons. The weather turned out to be far better than expected although
it stayed very windy. Graham turned up with two left boots (or were
they right) and so was subjected to a chorus of drill commands - "left,
left, left, left!". Some were concerned he would be condemned forever
to walk in circles and urged his pairing with someone with two opposite
boots so he would be able to make it round the targets in the right
order. Then later in the day Ian decided to try and cut his thumb off.
Fortunately he botched it, but had to be patched up and he was forced
to sit out the rest of the shoot. Luckily the prognosis is good and he
should be able to make the appropriate gripping shape very soon.
Finally, as the sun lowered in the sky, Mark was awarded a silver in HT
for a score of 606.
