Blue Cross Have A Go 29th July 2007

It's a miracle! Windrush Bowmen ran a medieval Have A Go that wasn't rained off! True, it was a bit soggy underfoot, but not so you had to get towed out with a five-ton army truck, or were in danger of floating off down the Severn!

The nice Blue Cross people gave us a paddock to ourselves right next to the main entrance so with the tent up there was no ignoring us. Barry did a splendid job handing out our flyers to incoming cars (refusal wasn't an option). We had a steady stream of fun-seekers all day, some even coming back for a second go. Everyone mucked in and leant a hand, so thanks to all of you.
